well I had changed the aquascape since I'm not getting everyone close together and don't need to section everyone off at first. other then that its just been looking for the critters in the price range I want haha. hopefully it will move faster now though Im anxious for it to get filled up

Awesome Fish. I like them, but the pretty much have to be alone, don't they?

Celidh they don't necessarily have to be alone but they are venomous and are sometimes hard to get to eat in the aquarium. They may eat smaller fish and inverts. They have venomous spikes on their fins and the venom can be quite dangerous if you are stung. I'm just assuming it would be worst for smaller hands in the tank as well. A little nerve wracking doing a water change hehe

they dont have to be alone no, just not with fish they can eat. If kept well fed they are usually model citizens and have fantastic personalities that are unsurpassed by an other fish. Elegance in motion

I remember watching Star Trek: The Next Generation with my dad and being completely engrossed by the lionfish in Cpt. Picard's office, to the point that I never had any idea what they said when it was in the shot. They truly are so elegant when they move, and the elegance combined with the look of danger is entrancing.
