Right, thanks for reminding me undergroundvid, I can bring microworm cultures if anyone is interested. Also, I won't be bringing the Angels if no one is interested, so let me know if you are. The Blue Glitter is already spoken for.

Joey, in the pictures you are handling the fish. Isn't this very dangerous for the fish? Are you not removing the protective "slim-coat" and therefore opening them up to infection?

No, they are fine. I didn't maul them.

I held them for a moment with wet hands and put them back in.

In fact, a wet hand less abrasive and more supportive than a fish net.

If I can get my butt in gear and get my new tank set up, I will have a 40g tank with heater (not sure of size) and an aquatech 30-60 filter, canopy and blue gravel. Hoping to get $125 for the whole thing. Let me know if you are interested.

I also have a canopy with light but I"m not sure what size it is. I'm guessing it if for a 20-30 g tank. I am at work now but will measure it when I get home. $25

I'd be interested in food if you end up bringing it.

I'm all out of black worms(Someone bought it all with discus)

..... and my greedy rays ate all 5 pounds of the worms in 3 weeks. (Ran out of pellets and had to feed them worms exclusively for one of those weeks)

Joey, when you make your food, do you get the beef heart from the grocery store or elsewhere? Did you say somewhere that you get the spirulina either online or at a healthfood store? I might try my hand at making some. I figure it should work for all my fw fish as well as my marine fish.

    from the grocery store yes.

If feeding marine this food, i would substitute beef heart it for more seafood.

You can get spirulina online or a healthfood store yes. However, its not cheap but you dont need a lot. Its concentrated in powder form.

Update: I feel my Gymnogeophagus gymnogenys babies are still a little small to transport, so I won't be bringing them. Anyone who was really hoping to pick some up can shoot me a PM, and I will let you know when I feel they are ready. When they are, I will be making a trip into Halifax to deliver some.

I will only be bringing one portion of Willow Moss. It is fragile and my Gymnos decided to play with a my largest portion, leaving me with a bunch of tiny sprigs of it which I now need to grow out to a decent size.

I have a couple of bare 10g tanks (no lids, lights, or filters) that I could bring.

I think that is all the changes. Looking forward to the social!
