What in the name of.... ew... but cool

I have been quite ill the last month or so and I haven't had any fish in my saltwater tank for that reason. Today I was looking in it and I saw something kind of odd looking. It sort of reminds me of a shrimp and I was wondering if anyone recognizes what it is.

Those were the best photos I could manage to get.

Looks like a little blue bristle worm, but I am far from an expert on the matter.

This is what I was thinking but I couldn't come up with the word "amphipod". I used to notice quite a few of these in my little 1g tank. I think it was because the shrimp didn't eat them but in the big tank, the fish possibly ate them and because it was bigger they were less noticeable. It is fun to discover all the life in your tank.

    It's an alien.

    Kidding. Well, maybe not.

The shape suggests amphipod, but it looks a little weird. I have never seen any that color. I have quite a few in my tank that range between nearly white to a peachy pink color, some on the almost grey scale.
