Receding brain coral!

My brain coral seems to be very very rapidly receding! Overnight it has exposed over half of its base!

I will post some pics and tank parameters in a bit, but does anything come to mind as an obvious cause!?

I had one, and my goby buried one side of it, over the course of a few months it slowly receded to nothing even though the flesh that was left looked fine.

Humm... Perhaps I had it too close to the other rock and the flow rub it up against it /cut it. That sounds very similar to what is happening with mine. The part that is left looks fine but I don't think it is!
