Saltwater Inverts Saving Lives by Detecting Cancer!
As you will read in the article apparently mantis shrimp (The same ones as some people around here keep as pets) have compound eyes that via detection of polarized light can allow them to see the differences in types of tissue. Including cancer. A bold claim. We are trying to reverse engineer it to allow us to detect cancer.
