    Devon you lost your Caiman? I had always wanted to pester you to go visit it sometime when I was in Moncton (admire it from afar, of course), but I wasn't sure if you still had it. What happened to him/her?

    It was sudden, she was fine the day before and ate that evening ,then when I went for lights on in the am she was lifeless.

    After investigating I believe it was getting to cold at night and that messed with digestion. Her tank was on an outside wall and their was a cold snap so that final extra cold night and big meal did her in. It was a Stupid rookie mistake, it was an exceptionally cold week and I didn't even think to check temps since the room is warm but the tanks on the outside walls were loosing heat.

    Maybe someday ill be lucky enough to come across another. They are a TON of work to care for but just amazing prehistoric creatures.
