I'm throwing around the idea of finding them a new home, but I don't know if there are any new homes around

I have kept them, but don't have the proper style of spare tank to keep them in right now. They usually need a tank that has a very secure cover, plus a place to get out of the water when they wish. The ones I kept were on pellets and fish food, but I wonder if they would have been happier with the occasional trout worm. Something more similar to a natural diet.

They are super adorable, though. What have you been feeding them?

Mine are in a 35 Gallons set up just for them. They get earthworms and frozen bloodworms.

Here is an older picture of the setup. There are much more plants now

Depending on the tetras, the newts might eat them. Plus most tetras like it warmer (high 70s low 80s), newts like it cooler (60s)

I'll probably just still keep them since I do not think I will find a home to house them. Its not like they are hard to take care of but I rarely look at the tank other than maintenance. Maybe I will just change it around sometime and it will get me more interested. Who knows haha
