    46 Bow Re-Scape

I gutted most of the 46 last night and added some new plants. I am very pleased with how it turned out!
I have just about had it with Java Moss though, the damn stuff goes everywhere when I try to clean the tank!

    Thanks guys!!
Cyps are doing well, I lost a few but I think I have 9 still. They are not showing much color yet but they will in time. Waiting is so much fun!

It's that time again. In anticipation of receiving some new fish for the tank I've been trying to plan out a new scape. I'm not great at hard scape, yet. I'm removing the moss tree and adding some rock work. This is what I've come up with so far. Any ideas or tips?

Man, you must really like margarine.

I'd probably take out the Easter island head, and place the wood amongst the lava rock. The colors will kinda go better.

Thanks! I'll give that a try. I normally don't like decorations like that but I do like the Easter island head. It doesn't have to stay though.

Tomorrow is the day I get my Leleupi babies!!! I think I have the scape figured out, the plants will be added to the scape, I just hope it turns out the way I want!

I soaked the lava rock for a few hours and rinsed it off, is there anything else I need to do to it before adding it to the tank tomorrow?

OMG love your tank! I cant believe you have a lake Tanganiykan tank ..... I had one years ago then had to shut it down and sell everything. It was my most favorite tank ever and I had put so much work into it. Yours is beautiful ! Im jealous !

Thank you! I just realized I never posted an updated photo after the last re-scape. Now I'm moving it yet again, but just across the hall. I still have to tear down the tank to move it though, I just hope I get it back the way I have it now! I'll try to post some new photos once the move is done tonight!

oh wow that is gorgeous! I used to have ( forgive me if I get the names wrong its been awhile) Neolamprologus leleupi, some julies and 4 comp fire fin. They werent even close to full grown when I had to tear the tank down and sell them ...... they were amazing fish.

I have pics somewhere, but they are stored on a disc somewhere, that was back before I had a thumb drive and I stored all my pics on discs lol ! Gotta go through them someday.

Im assuming thats a comp you have there in the lower right hand pic..... gorgeous fish !!
