    Arowana pic's

Just wanted to share a few pics I snapped ! Anyone else still keeping aro's?? If so please join in and share some pics !!

Here's mine, he's a Red Tailed Gold ~6 years old from CV Maju. Eyeballing it I'd say 22" ish and although I can't get a good pic of it on my cell his golds are really starting to develop nicely .

This ones the same guy, I was just experimenting with different lighting , only diffrence in this pic is the background actinic lights were on , normally they completely ruin his color but got lucky on this shot he was right between the from white and back actinic.

Such a beautiful Aro! I can only imagine how amazing it would be in person :)
How much food would a fish that size go though?

    Thanks everyone,

I've never really tracked his food intake, he can pound back food but a healthy diet requires a lot less then you'd probably think . He gets a couple pellets most days but always has 1-2 days a week without food. Once or twice a month ill give him fresh seafood , I chop up a mix of whatever's on sale and let him feast on as much as he wants for a day or two and occasionally I'll treat him to some insects like meal worms & crickets on my way by to feed the geckos. Or I'll collect up some worms, grasshoppers, junebugs etc. When in season.
