    Baby Beckford's pencilfish

I just spotted some baby pencil fish (three or four, although there are obviously likely to be many more). Barely visible just a couple of mm. I would love to be able to bring them on but as they are in a tank with their parents, who are pretty stealthy hunters, I suspect they are destined to become live food! I don't have any fry food but they are in a well planted and established 15 gal so who knows, maybe one or two will make it?

I decided to have a go at bringing them on so I took out the parents (back into the community tank) and have ordered some brine shrimp eggs and micro worms. For now they will have to get by on finely ground flake and whatever is lurking in the tank! If they make it through the next week some may survive. :)
