    Can CO2 system be reinspected

    Hello I'm wondering abou co2 cylinders I'm looking at buying a Brandnew 5lb co2 but I was wondering if you have to throw them out after they expire or can you get them resertified by some where's or someone

    They are good for 5 years from the last /first stamp. It then needs to hydrotested & inspected to be re certified for another 5 years by an authorized company.

    A lot of the fire safety businesses in HRM can either do the hydrostatic testing for you or have it sent away when the time comes. Keep it in good shape and it will last a long time.

    Thanks Charlie and everyone else cause I'm buying a whole new co2 system for my sons tank and got proboly around 30 3-4 inch cichlids comeing in for my tank plus my stand to hold 2 20 gallon long tanks so I have a lot on the go right now
