    Sick Similis

    Hard to get a picture but he seems to have skin tags or little white nodules growing on him. He has that big one you can see in the picture, he also has 1 growing above either eye and a few on his body.

    He also has been acting unusual, in shells a lot, not acting territorial at all and I wouldn't say gasping for air but definitely breathing heavier.

    All the water parameters are good for the fish other than the ph could be a bit higher but shouldn't cause this.

    Any input would be great.

    And the effected fishs fins are beginning to whittle away

    I'd quarantine him asap. Sounds like the mystery bacteria disease that killed off one my cichlids years ago. The spots looked like growths/ spiky pimples (nothing like ich) and was accompanied with fin rot.

    I think they are all affected at this point :/ the babies show no symptoms but are just sitting at the bottom

    If they are all infected maybe try a broad spectrum antibiotic? Those are beautiful fish....sorry to hear your having these issues :(
