    Looks to me like some female red spotted severums have those long fins just like the males.Two of mine had long fins and laid eggs.I was disappointed when I saw eggs coming from both.
    Time will tell. No eggs would survive in my tank haha

    What a grump that Oscar is! The tank looks great and clean. I am a substrate person myself, but seeing how clean it is I can also understand why you might not want too. Have you thought about tile at all?

    I thought about tiles, but I think I would rather something the fish can dig into a bit.
    I found a bunch of spare pool filter sand that I have in the 125G. So I could add that to it. I don't know how many pounds I have, but half a syrofoam shipping cooler full.
