    Ornate Bichir

    Picked up a 15" Ornate Bichir. What a monster. Very excited. First time i have had a big guy like this.

    I will try and post a pic later if i can figure out how.

    I got mine awhile back when I got the 180G. I think it was around April 2017. Mine eats Northfin Carnivore as well as some frozen fish, scallops, shrimp. He did try to eat some of the other fish as well. He ate a mystery snail the other day. The past owner had two, but one escaped. So I guess they are escape artists. My tank is fully covered, so he hasn't escaped yet.

    Never seen a spotted royal like that before. Very cool. I have a royal as well. One of the grey teaditional looking ones.

    Actually thinking about that, I don't think I had the royal pleco in the tank at that point in time or any pleco. I could be wrong, since the video was a while back. I do have two spotted raphael catfish. They are mainly black and have white spots. Is that what you saw?

    Maybe thats it. I will have another look. Love the raphs. I have a 6" striped raph.
