Video update too. I really need to clean and trim back the eaten leaves.

And this is about a month after doing a major cut back! I wish I'd taken a photo but it was soooooo overgrown. 2 grocery bags full (no joke). My guppies loved it for breeding lol

Yes they are. I have 3 in my 75 gal. Ol' blue eyes there, an albino bristlenose, and a clown. I love watching them. I'd love to get some of the more uniquely patterned/coloured ones, but you can only have so many in an aquarium lol (gah! When will I win the lotto!).

LOL is that an issue? I'm just not sure if my 75 could handle another. I have at least a dozen corys in there, shrimp, etc. I'm eyeing a system on kijiji right now...it's 150 gallon total, but it's set up in 4 tanks. I'm 99% sure the guy got it from the old Pets Unlimited here in town. Big tank on the bottom, three smaller ones up top. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details...equestSource=b this is it. If it's still for sale when I move, I'm going to grab it and set up the bottom planted, a betta in the centre and possibly crab habitat on one side and small frogs on the other, but not sure yet. Hubs is convinced it won't be for sale still, but I've seen it advertised on and off and am debating messaging the guy and seeing if I can come look and make a deal with him. I could even keep one of the small ones empty and use it as a QT tank for new stock (actually, that would be good). I don't like the way it's set up right now, but that's not huge. I know how to fix it up lol. If I do get it, I'll be getting a nice pleco or two for it for sure.

That's what I thought! It's the only way it made sense. I'm debating it as I also saw someone selling a larger aquarium on here...and I'd like to go bigger, but that total set-up is tempting to work with and wouldn't require a new cabinet...

Clean out my aquarium! Took out the big Amazon sword that was on the left but I did replace it with a baby one. I kept trimming it back and realized all it's leaves were compromised or nibbled, the base kept getting taller so I switched it up. It looks so empty now...

Also, here's my albino pleco, the shot with him under the driftwood also has my clown pleco (if you can find him lol), plus some other random shots.Click here to enlargeClick here to enlargeClick here to enlargeClick here to enlargeClick here to enlargeClick here to enlarge

Looking good. My only suggestion is to look into a background (if you want). Even just a solid colour. But it also comes down to personal preference too.

I've been considering that. Before this aquarium sat between the living room/dining room and acted like a room divider - hence no back ground. BUT it will be against a wall even when we move (unless something changes), so I do want a background...just need to find one I like lol

I bought black window film for the back of one of mine from home depot. I really liked it. Easy and cheap for a solid colour.

That's a great idea! See, I would never have thought of something other than those ones sold at pet shops.

They are one of my favourites. I love watching them fan the water for food. I could honestly just sit and watch my tank for hours...
