    Golden Orfe (Leuciscus idus)

Has anyone ever tried keeping the Golden Orfe, also known as the Ide? Is there any place to get them at all in the Maritimes, any pet stores that can order them in or anything? Seem like they'd be a cool fish to try?

Can't say I ever heard of them! Would make an interesting pond fish, looks like they get pretty big. Can't say I recall seeing them on any fish lists myself, have you checked with any of the maritime shops, maybe Aquaria Tropica, to see if they can order them?

No haven't checked yet but definitely will do so. I've heard tell of people keeping them in Ontario.Do you have any contact info for Aquaria Tropica?
