Joey - just read the newsletter- fantasttic job. It was really interesting, and good to see. On a seperate issue, the link did not open for me. I had to save and then rename to a .pdf - then it was good to go. Not to complain, just to inform. Thanks for doing a fantastic job.

Thanks everyone for your hard work, it was a great read.
If you don't feed them, you don't have to change the water :- I currently have a 12 tanks ranging from 5 to 23 gallons plus 1, 3 and 4.5 gallon bowls. All of them are planted and mostly community fish.

Sorry to bump up such an old thread but I was reminiscing about the good old days on the forum here and had remembered the Tanked newsletter.

I was hoping to read some of the old issues of Tanked that had been put together by the ECAS, I think I had even written an article once for it, I think.... my memory isnt like it used to be lol ! , and I would love to be able to revisit some of these old forgotten memories.

The links to the issues dont seem to work and I was just curious if anyone knows if the copies are still available online somewhere. Or maybe an older member has copies of them somewhere?

Back in the day there were a number of issues produced. Kim Aerts at one point took over the production from me as he was very gifted in layout, etc. I'd also like to get my hands on the past issues. When the club deteriorated from being a real fish club to what it is today, primarily a forum, it appears a lot of the history and such things as "Tanked" and "Talk Fish" disappeared.

I miss all that valuable information(history) and when it was a real fish club and not just a forum. Those were indeed "the good old days".

So true. Back then I lived in Cape Breton and never really got to participate as much as I would have liked, except for the occasional Talk Fish I got to attend. The group still holds a lot of good memories from those days though :)
